In the all time Top 10 list of Highest Score In IPL ,Chris Gayle stands first with a score that he achieved in 2013 edition. For the second, Brendan McCullum has the highest score that he got in the very first match of the inaugural IPL edition.

The eight scores in this list are – an unbeaten innings played by the batsmen. There are the, two innings above 150 & four innings in 120s in this list of highest score in IPL.

1) Chris Gayle, 175*

175* (In Bengaluru) , the highest individual t-20 innings ever, played by the Universal Boss – Chris Gayle that included 13 fours & 17 sixes. Gayle took 66 balls in the innings played against Pune Warriors which lead Royal Challengers Bangalore win by 130 runs. Batting first, RCB had a score of 263/5 following which Pune could score only 133 for 9 wickets.

There was a 30 balls hundred for Gayle , the fastest ever in T-20 cricket. The player having the 2nd most international 6s , comes first for the – most 6s in IPL & second in respect of the – most hundreds in IPL.

2) Brendan McCullum, 158*

The fastest fifty scorer in ODI World Cup, Brendan McCullum was the first to score a century in IPL scoring 158* (In Bengaluru) in the very first match of the Indian Premier League. Brendan had this innings for Kolkata Knight Riders versus Royal Challengers Bangalore, helping KKR win by 140 runs. This 73 balls innings comprised of 10 fours & 13 sixes.

3) Quinton De Cock, 140*

In 2022, a Lucknow Supergiants batsman Quinton De Cock had the 3rd highest score in IPL, after he smashed 140*(70 balls,10 fours & 10 sixes), in Mumbai & had an unbroken 210 run opening stand with KL Rahul against Kolkata Knight Riders. Lucknow secured a narrow victory of 2 runs in the match.

4) AB De Villiers, 133*

In 2015 IPL, batting at no. 3 for Royal Challengers Bangalore the star batsman AB De Villiers plays an unbeaten innings of 133(In Mumbai) versus Mumbai Indians, taking just 59 balls including 19 fours & 4 sixes. De Villiers who is among the fastest 100 scorers in ODI World Cup, shares an unbroken 215 runs partnership with Virat Kohli who scored 82*(50 balls), helping RCB win by 39 runs. He is also among the top 10 batters with the most runs in IPL.

5) KL Rahul, 132*

132*(Dubai) is the fifth in this list of all time highest score in IPL by an individual. KL Rahul the batsman with the highest average in IPL, scored 132 not out in the 2020 IPL, for Kings XI Punjab against Royal Challengers Bangalore which lead his team to a 97 runs win. There were 14 fours & 7 sixes in this 69 balls innings by KL Rahul. Also he has the 2nd fastest fifty in IPL (14 balls) alongwith Pat Cummins.

6) AB De Villiers, 129*

AB De Villiers once again in this list of highest score in IPL (one of only two to do so in this list), now coming with a score of 129 not out (In Bangalore ). AB plays this innings against Gujarat Lions in 2016, helping Royal Challengers Bangalore win by 144 runs.

Now he shares a partnership of 229 runs with Virat Kohli who also scores a hundred(109 runs, 55 balls) this time. 10 fours & 12 sixes, AB went on to score in this 52 balls innings. AB has the 2nd best strike-rate(248.0) in this list, & the 9th highest strike-rate in IPL, all time.

7) Shubman Gill, 129

The 23 year old Indian batsman Shubman Gill has entered into the top 10 list of highest score in IPL after a brilliant knock of 129 runs coming off 60 balls versus Mumbai Indians, in the Qualifier 2 of the IPL 2023. It includes 7 fours & 10 sixes. This is the highest individual score in IPL 2023. It helps Gujarat Titans to have their highest total in IPL.

The fastest 2000 ODI runs player scores three hundreds & goes over 800 runs in the season. He finishes on the top to – most runs in IPL 2023 & the most hundreds in IPL 2023. He also sets the records for the – 1) youngest to score a hundred & 2) joint fastest hundred (49 balls), in the IPL Playoffs.

8) Chris Gayle, 128*

128* by Chris Gayle is the second score here for him after his 175*. Gayle who is 2nd in the lists of – Most sixes in ODI & Highest score in ODI World Cup plays this innings against Delhi Daredevils (In Delhi ) to have a 21 runs win for Royal Challengers Bangalore , in the 2012 IPL edition. He took 62 balls for his innings and built an unbroken 204 runs partnership for the second wicket with Virat Kohli who scored 73*.

9) Rishabh Pant, 128*

Rishabh Pant, an attacking wicket-keeper batsman played an innings of 128*(In Delhi) for Delhi Daredevils , the one for the ages. He did this against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL-2018, but that couldn’t save his team from a defeat.

At one stage, the Delhi team was reeling at 43/3 but Pant’s 128 not out at the fourth position helped them finish with 187/5. He hit 15 fours, 7 sixes in his 63 balls innings.

10) Murali Vijay, 127

127 off 56 balls in 2010, by the former Chennai Super Kings opener Murali Vijay, comes as the 10th highest score in IPL. Vijay’s innings included 8 fours & 11 sixes, helping his team post a total of 246-5 and defeating Rajasthan Royals by 23 run
