Martin Guptill, the only New Zealand player to score an ODI double ton, did this against West Indies in the 4th Quarter Final of the 2015 World Cup. He scored 237* off 163 balls (S.R. – 145.3) at Wellington, including 24 fours & 11 sixes. He surpassed Chris Gayle’s score of 215( in the league stage, 2015 WC), to have the highest score in World Cup cricket tournament, by an individual.
