Ban Vs Pak Test Series 2024 1st Match : Test First Win Game For Bangladesh against Pakistan,, Pak Vs Ban Who Won The Toss ?

Bangladesh created history by winning their first match against Pakistan in the Test cricket. They haven’t had an easy path in Test cricket but beating Pakistan in Pakistan is a big achievement for the team. This was their first win in 14 Tests among Ban Vs Pak test matches.

Having won the toss, Bangladesh opted to bowl first. With the help of a 240 runs partnership( 5th wkt) among Mohammad Rizwan & Saud Shakeel, Pakistan team declared at the score of 448/6 in the first innings. Rizwan top scored with 171* while Shakeel went on scoring 141. Hasan Mahmud was the best bowler with 2/70.

In reply, Bangladesh team scored 565 runs which involved a partnership of 196 runs( 7th wkt) between Mushfiqur Rahim( 191) & Mehidy Hasan Miraz( 77). Naseem Shah came with 3/93.

After gaining a substantial lead of 117 runs in the first innings, Bangladesh bowled out Pakistan for a score of 146 runs in the second innings. Rizwan scored 51 while Mehidy Hasan came with the figures of 4/21.

Bangladesh achieved a target of 30 runs & came with their first 10-wickets victory in Tests. They also became the first team to defeat Pakistan by 10 wickets in the hosts backyard( including matches in the UAE). Mushfiqur Rahim was adjudged the player of the match for his heroics in the first innings.
